The Honorable Marriage

Heb 13:4 Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled; for fornicators and adulterers God will judge. (NASB)

Marriages with Honor

1.  Honorable marriages are public.

John 4:16-19

2.  Honorable marriages are formal.

Gen 2:24  For this cause a man shall leave his mother and father and shall cleave to his wife
Prov 2:17 forgotten the marriage covenant

3.  Honorable marriages are permanent.

Matt 19:6  ... What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate."
Heb 4:15-16 Let us therefore draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace to help in time of need.

4.  Honorable marriage involve God.

5.  Honorable marriages are places of growth.
