For students in grades 7-12

Dates: Feb. 14-16th, 2020. Meet to load the bus at Journey Church on Fri., Feb. 14 at 11am. We’ll return to Journey on Sunday Feb 16th around 10 pm.

Location: Camp Forest Springs near Westboro, WI (

Activities: Camp Forest Springs is an awesome camp with tons of fun winter activities: broom-ball, down-hill skiing, snowboarding, tubing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, late-night group campfire, game room and indoor hangout areas, icicle-licking, snow angel-making, face-washing-in-snowbank-ing, and more! (okay, I made up those last three…but it’s a fun place!) All activities are included. All rental equipment is included with your registration fee! (skis, snowboards, ice skates, tubing, snow shoes, broom-ball, etc.)

Lodging: We’ll be staying in nice, heated cabins right next to the lake. Each cabin sleeps 9 and we’ll have 1-2 youth leaders per cabin of students (separated by gender). Heated bathrooms are in each cabin. Plan to pack your own sleeping bag or bedding, towels, soap, shampoo, etc. Bring warm clothing for outdoor activities. We will be tubing, snowshoeing and playing broom-ball as group activities.

Cost/registration: The cost for the whole weekend is $150 (you’ll also need spending money for two fast-food stops), but you can raise about $50 of this by committing to help with the Valentine Dinner Show the night of Feb. 7th (based on funds raised). There is also a gift shop and snack bar in the main chalet . So, online registration and your $25 Winter Retreat deposit are due by Sun Feb 2nd. (To Ed) The balance of your registration fee is due by Monday, Feb. 10th. Space is limited to 30 students, so sign up early!

ALSO!!!  This Winter Youth Retreat Release must be filled out by each student and their guardian.  Print, fill out and bring to Youth Director Ed before you leave.
